We visited AYO for dinner this evening and it was absolutely beautiful. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavour, incredibly fresh, and beautifully prepared. The portions were generous, and we genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing! Between us we had a selection of starters, mains, and desserts, so we got to try a great variety of the menu, and every single person agreed that their meal was delicious.
The restaurant is small, vibrant & comfortable and the service was excellent. The staff were warm, friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humour. Our food arrived on time, and we were never left waiting or needing anything throughout the meal!
I would highly recommend AYO to anyone looking for fantastic, flavourful, authentic Asian cuisine. In my opinion, this is a real gem in Letterkenny, and whenever I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely be returning. 😊🙌

Finally found a SEA restaurant that I enjoy! I love the food, the ambiance, and the stellar service. Food is great and their sushi is highly recommendable. The only thing that I noticed was that they were not using sushi rice but instead jasmine rice on their sushi. Not that it matters but if you are using chopsticks, it will definitely break. Their beef claypot is to die for and I will definitely be back! Their menu for the month is the mango sticky rice but the rice was overcooked and mushy. 🤷🏻♀️ Sadiya, the manager, is amazing and she definitely made everyone feel comfortable.

Is this worthy of a 5 star review - with no exception.
The starters and main dishes - maggie's chilli chicken wings; banger kissed sambal wings; chicken and prawn pad Thai; sambal butter chicken and the Thai green curry were simply outstanding. Large main portions.
I would have no hesitation in coming back and recommending the above dishes. Not overlooking the friendliness of the staff.
